A sniper bot buys a new token in the first block after it becomes tradeable — often the same transaction that creates the pool — and sells within seconds or minutes to the buyers who arrive after. It captures the curve's lowest prices mechanically. Snipers are the first buyers on almost every launch and the first sellers on almost every pump.

Snipers watch for pool creation and bonding-curve deployments, submit buys with high priority fees to land first, and use rules to exit — a multiple, a time limit, a volume threshold. On Solana their trades cluster at rank one to five in the buyer ledger with tiny holding periods. They are distinguishable from a bundle by funding: sniper wallets are independently funded and diversified across hundreds of launches, while bundle wallets share one funder and one target.

For a human trader the implication is simple: you cannot be early on a launch, so do not try to be. Enter, if at all, after the sniper exits have printed and the token has held a level on real volume, and treat the first ten minutes of any chart as bot theatre.
