Dev Wallet

Glossary · Whales & On-Chain

The dev wallet is the address that deployed a token, plus the wallets it funded — the launcher's supply. What it holds, whether it bought its own launch, and when it sells decide most memecoins' fates. A deployer selling inside the first minute is the single strongest predictor of a launch that never graduates in our corpus.

"Watch the dev's wallet, not the chart. The chart is what the dev's wallet is doing, seen from the outside."

Reconstructing a launch tells you the deployer's share at graduation, whether the deployer bought on its own curve, and whether it dumped in the first sixty seconds. Our features corpus records all three for every launch: launches where the deployer sold inside a minute graduated 0 of 20 times, and launches where the deployer was buying its own token graduated slightly less often than the rest — the launcher's buying is not demand. The wallets the deployer funded are found by tracing incoming SOL, and they are the bundle when there is one.

How to use it: before buying any launch, know the deployer's holding and whether liquidity is locked. After buying, the deployer's wallet movements are the only alert that matters — a transfer to an exchange or a fresh wallet is the exit starting. Our cabal report excludes funders who fund too many wallets as infrastructure, and names the rest.
